Drop-in Classes
We offer a variety of gentle and moderate level drop-in, online yoga, and in-person yoga classes in the Hatha and Kripalu Yoga traditions. Check out our schedule page for class times and how to reserve a spot!
Gentle Yoga
Our experienced yoga teachers and yoga therapists are experts in working with people who live with chronic pain or health conditions such as Osteoporosis, Arthritis, effects of Cancer treatment, injuries, or neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis and brain injury. Our adaptive approach offers plenty of space to work safely at your own pace, and from a yoga mat or a chair. These classes are also great for people who want to move at a slower, more relaxed pace! Attention to breathwork, meditation, and the spiritual aspect of practice is also emphasized.
Moderate Level Hatha and Kripalu Yoga
A couple of steps up from gentle practice in terms of physical challenge. Teachers incorporate adaptation, beginning with a gentler version of a posture/sequence and building slowly to a more advanced version. There is still plenty of room to modify as needed and permission to stick with less physically demanding practices. Emphasis is also given to breath, philosophy, and meditation.
I can’t say enough good things about Christy Fisher’s teaching style. Her approach to teaching is the embodiment of compassion, skillful articulation of movement (internal and external), and an understanding of how to facilitate her students in having their own experience…
Julie has broadened my understanding of meditation and opened my mind to the possibility of spirit. Every class is a surprise and a gift.

This is a great class for students who have had an introduction to Yoga for Osteoporosis and would like to continue their practices, while learning new tools. We will always begin each practice with a gentle therapeutic adaptation, gradually moving into a stronger variation. Students are encouraged to work at their own pace and to stay with gentler options as desired.
Certified Yoga and Movement Therapist, Christy Fisher, has been teaching therapeutic yoga for over 25 years. She has studied Yoga for Osteoporosis with Ellen Saltonstall and Dr. Loren Fishman and integrates many of these principles into her classes for students who live with Osteoporosis.
Christy’s specialized classes for Cancer and Osteoporosis are life savers! I am able to participate and engage with yoga for the first time since my diagnosis. She understands how diseases affect the body and tailors the exercises to fit. My mood has improved knowing that I can go to a class and benefit from the exercises! Thank you!

Check out what students say about our On-Demand teachers….
When I started practicing yoga with Frances a few years ago, it made a big difference in my mental and physical well-being. I have had several challenges, including hip replacement and brain cancer. Frances focuses on balance, strength, and stability, and I realized that after each of her classes, I felt so good.
…Yoga with Sharon is the best way to start the day. Sharon’s calm and quiet demeanor brings an ease to each class. At the end of class, I feel challenged in the best way imaginable.
What I find most exciting about Tiina’s classes is her passion and understanding of how the human body moves. She brings to each class something new for me to discover in my own body…
